Not Even If There’s a Fire!
So Harm’s Way left for a 3 week tour this past week with Foundation and Backtrack , in the mean time we’ve played St. Louis, Omaha, Denver, Ogden (Utah), and the show last night was supposed to be in Pocatello ID. I’ll explain the “supposed to be” part in a bit.

So as per west coast norms we played St. Louis first on this tour, it was at the fubar, which if you know me at all you know I have a small grudge remaining in my heart for that place.
Nothing really happened other than the show, except:

Viking, James, and Andrew did a quick work out routine before the show, accompanied by Far Beyond Driven.
The show went by and it was just fine, we decided to drive that night to our new friend Emily’s house in almost Kansas City, KS, but really in MO THANKS ALLIE. She was about half way between STL and Omaha, while there the men in the groud went and saw a Royals game, Viking and I caught up on LOST.
We have 2 portable DVD players and 2 laptops so, movies are often watched. So far by day 5 we’ve watched Step Brothers (pictured) 3 times.
Omaha was that day, on the way to the venue (right down the street) we saw this:

I know you can’t really see, but you’ll have to take my word for it, KORN is on the bottom of that line up.
We played, everyone played, it was fine. I’m not in the habit of really explaining sets, the most important thing that happened that night was easily:

Also, James loves treats:

3 deep.
The next day was in Denver at the Blast-o-Mat, we’ve played there a few times and it was pretty on par with every other time. Afterward we went to a pizza place called City’O'City and got a bunch of whacky pizza:

Home made mozzarella, green peppers, mushrooms, and seitan sausage.
We stayed in the shittiest hotel I have absolutely ever been in, and left super early that day on our way to Ogden UT. We stopped along the way at an outlet mall which was pretty nice, saw some real trashy people and were surrounded by awesome scenery.
Along the way we saw this dude pick his nose, eat what he found, and then kiss his sincerely attractive girlfriend when she got in the car. Wyoming.
Scenery:

Yeah.
We got to Ogden and quickly there after a wiffle ball game was organized involving everyone in the tour package. I hit a triple next to a mountain.
The show was easily the weirdest show I have ever played, or at least close to it. We played to a bunch of 15 year old kids who were begging for food and cigarettes.
We found James’ Mecca:

We stayed in a swank ass Comfort Inn in Ogden and the next day ran errands and went to a sweet nickle arcade.

It was awesome, the punching machine was a nickel each punch. Andrew had a fluke high score though.
So then it was a quick 2 hours to Pocatello ID, where we were supposed to play a 300 person venue. We got there after the 2 other package bands and they were quick to share with us that there were literally no people there for the show. DESPITE:

Ingenious promotional attempts.
I guess the flyer on the inside of the club said that the show was the following day, so we all packed up and found some place to play wiffle ball.
But before all of that we found:

True colors.

James is a man of leisure, and a pillow hog.
That’s all that’s really happened on this tour so far, I’ll post again soon.
